Features of Omid IPTV

1U and Customizable

۱U Device with Customization Capability

The customization capability combined with the 1U size is one of the standout features of the Omid IPTV Headend device. This device is designed as a stand-alone unit, allowing customers to add a variety of inputs and outputs based on their needs and budget. The standard size of the device is 1U, which can be easily installed in a rack and occupies minimal space. This flexibility in customizing inputs and outputs makes the device suitable for a wide range of applications, meeting the diverse needs of users.

DVB-S and DVB-T Inputs

The Omid IPTV Headend device, with DVB-S and DVB-T inputs, offers high flexibility in receiving various signals. This device can include DVB-T/T2, DVB-S/S2/S2X input tuners, or a combination of both. Each tuner is capable of receiving one frequency, and these frequencies can provide multiple channels simultaneously to users. IP Input

ASI and IP Inputs

In Omid IPTV Headend equipment, the option to add ASI and IP inputs is available upon customer request. The ASI input is a global standard in the media industry, commonly used for content output from professional studios. Using this standard, content produced in studios is sent to the IPTV headend to be displayed as a separate channel alongside channels received from satellites and terrestrial networks. Similarly, the device also supports IP input, meaning it is capable of receiving content in IP format.

HDMI and USB Inputs

IPTV headend users sometimes wish to display their exclusive content alongside other channels, without the need for professional studios. This can easily be done using the HDMI and USB inputs of the Omid IPTV device. IPTV users can run their content from a USB drive or a computer and connect it to the headend’s HDMI output. In this way, your desired content will be made available as a separate TV channel to all viewers in the building or facility.

HDMI Input

Multiplexer Capability

The IPTV Headend device, equipped with an internal multiplexer (MUX) capability, allows for the selection and management of TV channels, as well as their customization from various inputs. This feature enables you to specify which channels will be available via IPTV and which will be broadcast over RF TV. By using the internal MUX, you can efficiently organize the channels and provide users with an organized experience and easy access to diverse content.

IPTV and RFTV Outputs

After processing and selecting the channels in the IPTV headend device, they can be transmitted to the viewer through various communication platforms. These outputs are available in two formats: as IP, known as IPTV, which is delivered to users via network or fiber optic, or as RF with the DVB-T standard, broadcast through traditional infrastructure using coaxial cable (antenna cable). One of the advantages of this device is its compatibility with both new and traditional systems, allowing content to be delivered in any environment.

ASI Output

The ASI (Asynchronous Serial Interface) standard is an important protocol for transmitting audio and video in professional systems. This standard is designed for sending compressed content using various protocols like MPEG-4 and HEVC and is widely used in broadcasting environments. The Omid IPTV device also provides the option for ASI output. This feature is particularly significant for professional users, including television networks and internet platforms, and serves as a key tool for transferring high-quality, stable data.
